A Message from Our Board Chair

We are deeply grateful to announce that Connie Lee will be stepping into the role of Interim Local Coordinator, effective August 1, 2025. This transitional role provides continuity in leadership while the Board continues its prayerful search for a permanent Local Director.

Many of you know Connie from her faithful service as a Children’s Ministry Specialist on staff since June 2020. Her dedication to reaching children with the Good News of Jesus Christ has been evident in every aspect of her ministry. We are confident that God will continue to use her gifts and leadership during this new season.
As I recently shared, our beloved Local Director, Brenda Smith, will be retiring at the conclusion of CEF’s summer ministry on August 31, 2025. Brenda has served with tremendous love, energy, and vision, and we thank God for all she has poured into this ministry over the past 19 years.
This is a season of forward momentum for CEF of Delaware County. We are operating from a position of strength as we celebrate 86 years of ministry in Pennsylvania. Our Good News Clubs, Christmas Party Clubs, volunteer training courses, and all other CEF Delco ministries are continuing as usual. Most importantly, we remain steadfast in our mission to reach boys and girls throughout Delaware County with the life-changing message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
